A competition on renewable energy technologies. Generate energy via solar panels, wind generators, and hybrid solutions, with all devices connected to a shared LED sphere.
Competition on renewable energy technologies
The "Green Energy Engineer" competition is held to develop green energy and engineering thinking among youth, promote renewable energy sources (UN Sustainable Development Goal — SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy), and implement environmentally sustainable technologies in practice.
Participants build solar panel, wind generator, or hybrid energy solutions and compete during a 1-hour energy generation test. All devices are connected to a shared LED energy sphere; the device that generates the most energy is declared the winner.
Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Promote solar, wind, and other clean energy sources
Implement environmentally sustainable technologies in practice
Develop green energy and engineering skills among youth
Prepare young engineers to develop innovative solutions
Three main directions of renewable energy
Photovoltaic panels converting solar energy into electricity
Turbines generating electricity using wind energy
Eco-friendly hybrid systems combining multiple energy sources
Four main stages of the competition
Participants register with identity documents
All devices undergo mandatory technical and safety checks
Devices are connected to the LED sphere and generate energy for one hour
The device generating the most energy wins; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places are awarded
Requirements for participants and devices
Devices must be based only on renewable sources: solar, wind, or hybrid systems.
Devices must be safe, technically reliable, and operational. Electrical and mechanical safety is strictly controlled.
All devices undergo mandatory technical expertise before the competition. Faulty devices are disqualified.
Jury decisions are final and not subject to reconsideration. Complaints are accepted in writing within 10 minutes.
All participant devices must be connected to a shared LED energy sphere, which serves as the primary measurement unit.
Connecting to external electrical grids during the competition is strictly prohibited. Devices must generate energy independently.
Violations lead to disqualification
Use of external electrical power is prohibited
Pre-charged accumulators or batteries are prohibited
Manual or external interference with the device is prohibited
Materials dangerous to the environment or human life are prohibited
Winners are awarded certificates and valuable prizes
