A competition in reproducing drawings and building 3D models in AutoCAD. Demonstrate precision, speed and engineering excellence.
Demonstrate precision, speed and engineering competence in AutoCAD.
3D Modelling is a platform to test engineering mastery and creative thinking. Bachelor and master students can recreate assigned drawings in AutoCAD, build volumetric models and prove their technical knowledge in practice.
The competition is held in two stages: qualification and final. Each participant demonstrates precision, speed and professional AutoCAD skills to secure a place among the best.
Accurately reproduce drawings in AutoCAD without errors
Ability to complete tasks fully in the shortest possible time
Capability to build an overall 3D model based on 2D drawings
Professional-level operation skills in the AutoCAD environment
Your engineering journey consists of two stages, each with a new level of challenge and opportunity.
At the first step, you must recreate complex drawings in AutoCAD within 60 minutes. Every line, angle and dimension is a measure of your precision.
The best 50 participants from qualification face more complex tasks in the final. Not only technical knowledge but also performance under pressure is tested.
Important rules and procedures for participants.
All tasks must be completed strictly in AutoCAD. Use of other software is prohibited.
In the qualification stage, participants are given a maximum of 60 minutes. In the final, speed is a key criterion.
Final drawings must be submitted in .dwg format for evaluation in AutoCAD.
Use of pre-made drawings, internet and mobile communication tools, or third-party assistance is strictly prohibited.
Movement is allowed only upon referee signal. Any action after end-of-round signal is prohibited.
In the final stage, participants must use their own laptops. Technical readiness is the participant responsibility.
The winner is determined based on speed and accuracy.
The participant who completes tasks fully and accurately in the least time is considered the winner.
Completed tasks are evaluated and the best outcomes are considered. Error-free execution is preferred.
Accuracy of 3D visualization and compliance with technical requirements are evaluated.
The following actions lead to disqualification.
Using pre-prepared drawings and models obtained from internet sources
Using help from other persons without Organizing Committee permission
Using mobile communication tools and internet during the competition process
Using software tools other than AutoCAD is strictly prohibited
